Your Choice
Pathways to Mental Health supports people to realise their potential by providing a natural environment and high standards of care. We offer many different pathways to recovery whilst maintaining wellness, independence and purpose. Most of our services take place in a nature-based environment.
Our services are evidenced-based, constantly adapted and individualised according to our participants’ feedback. Our team are registered, experienced and highly motivated to work with you so that you fulfil your expectations and goals.
Our deep connection to each other and the earth means that to be healthy physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally we need to practice behaviours that contribute to this connection.
Providing outstanding supports is about changing with the times, adjusting to needs and constantly reflecting on our practice. Your feedback is an essential part of that process.
Community Supports
Pathways to Mental Health provides participants with community support to assist individuals in developing skills and establishing social connections. These supports encompass learning new skills, daily living assistance, participation in activities, and the cultivation of healthy personal, family, and community relationships.
SUPPORTED INDEPENDENT LIVING
The Pathways farm is located at Mcleans ridges 15 mins drive from Lismore, 10 mins to historical Alstonville, and just a short drive to beautiful coastal beaches of Ballina, Lennox Head, and Byron Bay
A Future for all Australians
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of Australia and our Bundjalung people with their continuing connection to land, sea and community. We respect the elders past and present and express our heartfelt apology for the injustices endured by Aboriginal people of our Nation. We will continue to strive, day by day, in our thoughts and actions to reflect these truths and sentiments.
Kanyini is the essential ingredients to life and is made up of the following:
Ngura: A sense of belonging to home and land
Walytja: Family connection with life
Kurunpa: Love, Spirit or Soul
Tjuukupa: The belief about creation and the right way to live
“I wrote ‘In Union; Jack’ to give a public voice to the conversations and reflections generated by people viewing ‘Uncle Jack’ by Jandamarra Cadd. The common theme shared with me was one of unity. Unity based on recognising that the shared kindred within us all is the key to honouring how our nation has been enriched by diversity. The manner in which this enrichment was embraced gives me hope for the continued growth of our nation. As this growth wasn’t about forgetting nor replacing our past, but on genuinely advancing Australia. I humbly hope that ‘In Union; Jack’ and ‘Uncle Jack’, in a way, encourages you to act as a custodian of our nation”.
Respectfully,
Paul Leach
